If you need support to manage your medication, we will do this according to the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidance and ensure all your medicines are given to you as prescribed.
We have clinical procedures in place which give clear guidance to our care team about how to manage your treatment and medication effectively.
Our staff have training in medication management clinical staff have annual competency assessments. This promotes effective treatment and safe administration of medicines.
Where additional advice and support is needed, we will refer to specialist teams in the community. Our medication provision is subjected to an annual assessment by our pharmacy advisory service. Where recommendations are made, we will take timely and effective action.
